Reasons of   birth and goal of the project :

  It was said in the homepage, the goal of these pages is an effort of objective point of view and serious approach to problems of alternative medicine (AM) - a very controversial matter.

  Today, the phenomenon of alternative medicine evokes full scale of reaction, from total refusal to uncritical admiration. But hardly nobody, especially from lines of medical staff, stay indifferent to this question. I think, that there's a simply reason - above all, it's a matter of health of the patient. If any methods of alternative medicine can help or harm - that's question, that's discusse not only in professional sphere.

  But, isn't a simply matter to solve this problem. Conflicts of opinions and interests appear among supporter and opponents, but the patient shouldn't suffer in any case of solution of this problem. And therefore, the upper latin quotation was chosen as motto of this page.

  Nowadays, there is a bit of informative and legislative chaos in this sphere in Czech Republic (but not only here). The methods and success of alternative medicine are often distorted by supporter and opponents too. Wrong and often purposeful false informations are given in public.

  For this reason, this page want to contribute to raise a information status about the phenomenon of alternative medicine. The main goal is in the presentations of supporters' and opponents' views. The confrontation of different views is a tool, that can create (but also needn't) your own point of view to this problem.

  Certainly, there are many resources about alternative medicine on Internet. But majority of these sites belong to one of the side of the field of views, so the informations there needn't be objective. Discussion and confrontations, that appear in these sites, discharge for relevation of sites to some opinions, that are mentioned above.

  So, this page isn't propagation of alternative medicine. But this page isn't an opponent to alternative medicine too. This page want to be a neutral ground for duel of arguments of both sides.
