The goals of SPA (S&CRs) are: Help the correct use of psychology in terms of education. Support communication among professionals in education on all levels of schools and educational institutions. Assert services of school psychologists at all types of schools. Try to keep up the psychological rights of children and adolescents. Cooperate in development of care about children and adolescents with other organizations and institutions sharing the same goals as SPA (S&CRs). Develop and initiate educational programs for school psychologists. Edit a professional journal, books, psychological assesment methods, proceedings from congresses.

Association rejects any discrimination on the base of nationality, rase, religion or see and obliges its members to keep up this principles in their practice.

A membership could be given to any Slovak or Czech graduated psychologist and to a university graduate from psychology and pedagogy too. Students of psychology can also became members. Affiliated members of SPA (S&CRs) could be teachers and persons who are users of psychological services at schools, educational institutions and other facilities.
