Study Programs in the English Language

Students obtain the theoretical knowledge in general and special dermatology as well as in venereology.

 

  • General dermatology: anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology of the skin, clinical patterns, therapy, diagnosis of skin disorders.
     
  • Special dermatology: cutaneous reactions to external injury, bacterial infections, fungal infections, viral infections, AIDS - associated pathology of the skin, infestations, disorders of keratinization, psoriasis, eczema and dermatitis, bullous and connective tissue diseases. Blood vessels, lymphatics, sebaceous, sweat gland and skin pigmentation disorders, drug eruptions, skin tumours, genetic disorders.
     
  • Venereology: gonorrhoea, syphilis, sexually transmitted diseases, examination of patients. The description of skin clinical pattern, basic investigation methods and differential diagnostics are a content of practical education in dermatology. The training in topical, internal and physical therapy is also necessary.
