Among other social and the staff regularly meet for a pre-Christmas party. There is also a long tradition of repr balls of the Faculty of Medicine in HK International students also organise a festive Grad or an event celebrating cultural diversity called Culture Day. The faculty also tries to b and international student community by organizing the Czech and English Meets event. The evening's programme is us and visitors can dance to classical and Latin dances, enjoy a raffle, as well as the tradi surprise in the form of an original dance performance by LF HK students. This event is organized by Student Union at the Faculty of Medicine in HK and aims to introduce the students' home co cultures and give an insight into their traditions and national identities. The students, in traditional clothing, present at their stalls a mixture of unusual national dishes that compatriots prepare together in advance. The stalls are always imaginatively decorated in colours, and there is no shortage of flags and items typical of the country. Visitors to t opportunity to taste the dishes, but also learn a lot of interesting cultural and historic from different parts of the world. At the end of the programme there is usually a cultural form of dance and music performances. *========================================================================================= * Czech and English Meets *========================================================================================= Foreign and Czech students can get to know each other during the Czech&English Meets event place twice a year in the Column Hall in the Na Hradě Gallery and the adjacent seminar roo informal evening get-together for students from foreign and Czech programmes to practise t get to know each other. The aim of the event is to make contacts, pass on cultural traditi language skills. The event includes fun quizzes and refreshments. The event is held in the Na Hradě Gallery and the adjacent se attended by approximately fifty students each year who come to hear papers and presentatio and its funding, recommendations from the coordinators on the best trips to take, and the and insights of older students who have already gone abroad. A new LF HK Mobility brochure collaboration between ASM and the GZO of LF HK, was launched at the event, which clearly s departure opportunities within our faculty. Of course, students have the opportunity to as anything they are interested in during the event, including during the informal part of th the serving of refreshments and listening to the accompanying musical performance. For the the concerts have been held in a fundraising spirit, with all proceeds from the entrance f students to the treatment of a selected, seriously ill pediatric patient. Exhibitions have been held since 1990 in the foyer on the 1st floor of of the theoretical institutes of the Faculty of Medicine in Šimkova Street and since 2006 premises of the Na Hradě building, where the faculty opened the Na Hradě Gallery, an exhib reconstructed Column Hall.
