            Within the Faculty of Medicine in Hradec Králové there are also various sports activities 

            and employees.

            Students of the Faculty of Medicine in Hradec Králové represent our faculty in the Univers

            League. Futsal, basketball, floorball and volleyball. The Faculty of Medicine in Hradec Kr
            own team representation in four sports with the exception of football. The teams are mainl
            students from both faculties of CU in Hradec Králové, i.e. medical and pharmaceutical. Cha

            is one of the schools that have teams registered in all sports and you can follow along wi
            teams will fare in their competitions in the premiere season.

            * Rector's Sports Day
            *=========================================================================================
            The Rector's Sports Day is held every year in May and the Department of Physical Education

            of Medicine of Charles University in cooperation with the Faculty of Medicine in Hradec Kr
            a varied sports programme for its students and staff, both for experienced athletes and be
            programme includes team tournaments in ball sports such as volleyball, floorball or netbal

            exercises, a bike ride or the traditional Run to Chvojno and the Rector's Golf Tournament.

            * Run for the Prize of the Department of Physiology

            *=========================================================================================
            The Run for the Prize of the Department of Physiology has been held since 2021 and is open
            physiology students, but also to all students, alumni, and faculty members. Runners can ch

            5 or 10 km route along forest paths, and the race traditionally starts at the Zděná Bouda 
            Hradec Králové's urban forest.

            * Run for Life
            *=========================================================================================
            In April, the Medical Students' Association is organizing a charity run through Šimek's Or

            students and staff of both Hradec Králové faculties of medicine and pharmacy. The proceeds
            fee are always donated to help with the treatment of selected pediatric patients. The even
            between the two faculties for a travelling cup, with the faculty with the most runners win

            is also open to the general public.
