            The International Day of Women and Girls in Science is commemorated annually on 11 Februar

            proclaimed by the UN General Assembly in December 2015. It aims to commemorate the importa
            and girls in the world of science and also to encourage their participation in research ac
            their representation in science has long been underrepresented globally.


            Many women and girls are active in science at the Faculty of Medicine in Hradec Kralove. T
            year on the occasion of this day they present them with medallions or interviews.
