On Wednesday, May 13, we bid farewell to the faculty building on Šimkova Street—where our faculty has been based since 1945—with a faculty carnival. It was a truly spectacular event, attended by several hundred students, dozens of current and former employees, more than 150 alumni, and dozens of other invited guests. Most of them came to the event wearing masks, some of which were very creative. The dean, Prof. Jiří Manďák, presented the three best masks with a small gift during the evening.

We would like to thank all the staff, students, alumni, and friends of our faculty who came to enjoy the evening. We would also like to thank all the members of the SboreCheck UKHK choir, the bands Canalis Analis and Kantáre, and DJ Kraus, who put together a fantastic musical program. A big thank you also goes to the members of the IFMSA CZ Hradec Králové for providing refreshments and organizing the stair-climbing competition. We would also like to thank Ta Cukrárna and Infinity Medstyle for donating prizes for the raffle and for the winner of the quiz.
