            The Biological Material Bank at the The Fingerland Department of Pathology (FÚP) is primar
            on collecting and preserving native tumor tissue samples through cryopreservation. Cryopre

            Cryopreservation of tissues at our facility is available to all clinics and institutes of 
            Medicine at Charles University in Hradec Králové and the University Hospital Hradec Králov
            this method is used to preserve samples of malignant tumors of the breast, digestive syste

            area, ovaries, lungs, and brain, as well as lymph node samples in hematological diseases.

            The Biological Material Bank at FÚP is involved in the Czech part of a large distributed r
            infrastructure of pan-European significance – BBMRI (Biobanking and Biomolecular Resources

            Infrastructure), which aims to create and operate a network of biological material banks f
            research.
