            The Vivarium [ URL "LFHKEN-81.html "] is a supportive research facility for all preclinica

            and joint workplaces of the Faculty of Medicine in Hradec Králové of CU and the University
            Králové. The vivarium serves for the breeding and research of laboratory animals, which ar
            for advanced biomedical research. Scientists conduct experiments here aimed at understandi

            developing new treatment methods, and testing drugs.

            In the modern environment of the vivarium, strict hygienic and ethical standards are adher

            compliance with the requirements of current laws and regulations regarding animal protecti
            activities are consulted and monitored by the Expert Committee for Ensuring the Welfare of

            Animals. The designated veterinary doctor overseeing animal care has found no violations d
            inspection visits. Animals are also regularly monitored through pathological and anatomica
            microbiological examinations at the Health Veterinary Institute.


            The vivarium is equipped with state-of-the-art technologies for monitoring and analyzing b
            processes. It thus provides crucial support for the educational and research activities of

            contributing to progress in medicine and the improvement of human health.
