            The clinic carries out diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of disorders falling within

            and head and neck surgery. It deals with conservative and surgical treatment of diseases o
            and throat. Special attention is paid to remedial and reconstructive surgery of the middle
            microsurgery, voice surgery (phonosurgery), thyroid surgery, endoscopic surgery of the nos

            nasopharynx and base of the skull. In cooperation with the oncology clinic, it provides co
            for patients with malignant tumours of the head and neck.

            The clinic is one of the leading clinics in the Czech Republic in ear surgery. In 2014, th
            tuboplasty was performed here in the Czech Republic. The results of surgical procedures in

            auditory tube were presented in foreign publications and in the monograph The Auditory Tub
            Cochlear Implant Centre was created at the FNHK, and in 2022 the 100th cochlear implant wa
            the centre.
