Cancellation of wearing respirators and mouth protection

Notification from the hospital hygienist of the University Hospital in Hradec Králové
– cancellation of  wearing respirators and mouth protection

With an immediate effect the duty to wear respiratory protective aids is cancelled, including the premises of
medical institutions.

This cancellation is based on the Pandemic Act (according to § 2 par. 4 of the law no. 94/2021) and on the law
no. 258/2000 on protection of public health.

The protective aids are furthermore required as part of barrier and hygienic measures as in the times before the
COVID-19 pandemic (care for imunosuprime patients, operation rooms, wounds rebinding, care for patients
with TBC, etc.).
