The Faculty of Medicine in Hradec Králové is one of the best educational and research institutions in the field of medicine in the Czech Republic. It educates students in the Master's programmes in General Medicine and Dentistry in both Czech and English and in the Bachelor's programmes in General Nursing and Midwifery in Czech. It is a part of Charles University, the oldest university in Central Europe.
The Educational and Research Centre of Charles University in Hradec Králové is being built near the University Hospital. The joint campus of the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Pharmacy, when completed in 2026, will be an exceptional building that will improve the conditions for the development of medical disciplines and thus enable quality education of top professionals, especially doctors.

On April 15, the eighth Run for Life charity run took place in Šimkovy Sady. Once again, it showed how people can come together to help others. This year, 235 participants joined and raised 34,500 CZK to support four-year-old Filípek, who has cerebral palsy.

On April 2, 2025, the 15th annual Job Fair in Medicine took place at the Educational Centre of the Faculty of Medicine in Hradec Králové, attracting a record-breaking 704 students. The event offered a rich program including expert lectures, exhibitor presentations, and opportunities to meet potential employers and learn more about jobs in medicine.
