The Faculty of Medicine in Hradec Králové is one of the best educational and research institutions in the field of medicine in the Czech Republic. It educates students in the Master's programmes in General Medicine and Dentistry in both Czech and English and in the Bachelor's programmes in General Nursing and Midwifery in Czech. It is a part of Charles University, the oldest university in Central Europe.
The Educational and Research Centre of Charles University in Hradec Králové is being built near the University Hospital. The joint campus of the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Pharmacy, when completed in 2026, will be an exceptional building that will improve the conditions for the development of medical disciplines and thus enable quality education of top professionals, especially doctors.

Professor Zelalem Temesgen from the Mayo Clinic in Rochester arrived on Monday, January 5, for his annual visit to the Faculty of Medicine in Hradec Králové. He selected students who will go on their dream internship abroad at leading medical facilities in the United States.
