The Faculty of Medicine in Hradec Králové is one of the best educational and research institutions in the field of medicine in the Czech Republic. It educates students in the Master's programmes in General Medicine and Dentistry in both Czech and English and in the Bachelor's programmes in General Nursing and Midwifery in Czech. It is a part of Charles University, the oldest university in Central Europe.
The Educational and Research Centre of Charles University in Hradec Králové is being built near the University Hospital. The joint campus of the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Pharmacy, when completed in 2026, will be an exceptional building that will improve the conditions for the development of medical disciplines and thus enable quality education of top professionals, especially doctors.

Graduation CeremonyOn 14 and 15 July 2026, graduates of the Faculty's Master's Degree Programmes in General Medicine and Dentistry received their diplomas during graduation ceremonies held in the historic Carolinum in Prague. We warmly congratulate all 165 graduates on the successful completion of their studies and wish them every success in their future professional and personal lives.
Journey to Ethiopia in Search of Collaboration and InspirationThe faculty delegation’s visit to Addis Ababa University reaffirmed the long-standing collaboration between the two institutions and opened up new opportunities in the areas of student internships, research projects, and online instruction. The visit also provided a powerful source of inspiration from an environment where medical care is often provided under challenging conditions.
Our faculty hosted a meeting on developing soft skills for healthcare professionalsOn 15–16 June 2026, partners of the Erasmus+ project MISS4Health (Micro-credentials in Soft Skills for Healthcare Professionals and Students) gathered in Hradec Králové, Czech Republic, for a transnational project meeting hosted by the Faculty of Medicine in Hradec Králové of Charles University and the University of Hradec Králové.
