At the 5th edition of Mobility Night, nearly 60 students discovered the international opportunities available at our faculty and heard first-hand experiences from fellow students who had already been abroad.
On Wednesday, 14 October, students, staff and alumni of our faculty gathered in the Hradec Králové city forests for the traditional Run for the Prize of the Department of Physiology and Alumni Run. Participants could choose between 5 km and 10 km routes and look forward to traditional Physiology Tea and an evening programme featuring the announcement of the winners.

Charles University officially opened the new Charles University Campus in Hradec Králové. It is one of the largest investments in the university’s history and one of the most modern university campuses in Europe. The new campus is directly connected to the University Hospital Hradec Králové.

On 14 and 15 July 2026, graduates of the Faculty's Master's Degree Programmes in General Medicine and Dentistry received their diplomas during graduation ceremonies held in the historic Carolinum in Prague. We warmly congratulate all 165 graduates on the successful completion of their studies and wish them every success in their future professional and personal lives.
The faculty delegation’s visit to Addis Ababa University reaffirmed the long-standing collaboration between the two institutions and opened up new opportunities in the areas of student internships, research projects, and online instruction. The visit also provided a powerful source of inspiration from an environment where medical care is often provided under challenging conditions.
On 15–16 June 2026, partners of the Erasmus+ project MISS4Health (Micro-credentials in Soft Skills for Healthcare Professionals and Students) gathered in Hradec Králové, Czech Republic, for a transnational project meeting hosted by the Faculty of Medicine in Hradec Králové of Charles University and the University of Hradec Králové.
During the summer holidays, the Medical Library Na Hradě will have changed opening hours because it is moving to the new campus. The library will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. until 10 July. From 13 July, it will be permanently closed at its current location. Click for more information.
