The Department of Languages Participates in the CercleS Conference 2026 in Rome

From 10 to 12 September 2026, we participated in the XIX CercleS Conference 2026, held at the University of Rome Foro Italico in Rome.

Our work was presented through two conference papers. Dagmar Vrběcká and Hynek Skořepa presented From Passive to Powerful: Activating Medical Language Learners, while Klára Čebišová and Eva Schánělová presented Content and Language Integrated Learning at Faculties of Medicine..

The conference provided an excellent opportunity to share experiences, explore innovative teaching approaches, and discuss current trends in language education. We managed to establish valuable international contacts and share examples of good practice with colleagues from language centers and universities across Europe.
