700 years Charles IV

On May 14th 2016,
Charles university will commemorate
the 700 years that have passed since the birth of its founder,
the Emperor and King Charles IV.

New campus

The Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Pharmacy have undertaken a project to construct the Teaching and Research Centre of Charles University in Hradec Králové within the Operational Program Research and Development for Practise.

Famdent Excellence in Dentistry Awards 2015

Dr. Chaitra Srinivas - doctoral study program Dentistry graduate at the Faculty of Medicin in Hradce Kralove (2004-2009), received an award Outstanding Dentist of the year 2015.

Lékařská Fakulta UK Hradec Králové

Lékařská fakulta v Hradci Králové je nejstarší vysoká škola ve východních Čechách. Byla založena 13. října 1945 jako první z lékařských fakult ihned po druhé světové válce a stala se součástí Univerzity Karlovy, nejstarší univerzity ve střední Evropě a na sever od Alp. Univezita Karlova byla založena v roce 1348 Karlem IV, králem Čech a císařem Svaté říše římské.

Charles University - Faculty of Medicine in Hradec Kralove

The Faculty of Medicine in Hradec Kralove is the oldest institution of higher education in East Bohemia. It was established as the first of the new medical faculties immediately after the end of World War II (October 13, 1945) and became a part of Charles University, the oldest university in Central Europe and north of the Alps.
